I had unprotected sex the week following my period. How soon can I take a test?

I am so anxious to find out if we're pregnant or not. My period ended april 18th, we had sex the 20th, 21st, 23rd and 24th. Do I really have to wait until I miss a period? That's an entire month away! I think I'll drive my self insane, can I find out any sooner? Any suggestions on which home test works the best on picking up pregnancy the soonest?

well i guess it may not be the same for all women but i always thought that you had to wait exactley 2 weeks from the first day of your last period to get pregnant.... it wokred for me that way... i have 2 kids and now im expecting my third..... but you can take a test five days before your missed period if you buy "first response"!!! good luck!
